This versions of HandBrake do use the source code of the official versions, but the code is slightly modified. System requirement for the Mac is minimum macOS 10.11. The Windows versions should work on MS Windows 7, 8.1 and 10, they need .NET 5.
The following customizations have been applied:
1. The x265 codec can use up to 5 steps for --aq-mode (Experimental) (Patch).
2. For the x265 codec, the option --auto-aq was introduced (Experimental) to enable auto detection of AQ Mode per frame. (Patch).
